I’m Alan Cole, I’m a Senior Business Improvement Specialist here at Cobb Technologies. I started in this industry in 1987, and over the years I’ve seen lots of changes. One thing that’s never changed is the philosophy that I developed when I started in this business, and that is: always succeed at the service of others, never at the expense of others. I’ve always tried to build every client relationship on a foundation of trust and integrity, and with the team that I have here at Cobb backing me up, I feel so blessed to be able t do that on a daily basis.

At Cobb, we represent some of the biggest and best names in the industry: Canon USA, Konica Minolta, HP, Kyocera, and many others. We have awesome solutions folks on staff that do a great job coming up with document management or workflow solutions. We have managed print services, we even have voice over internet telephony, so we have a large toolbox from which to pull, to offer these services to our clients. The best way to do that is for us to meet, talk, and see what we can do to help you.

My wife Tanya and I are long-term residents of Hampton Roads, but we both met at VCU in Richmond - so go Rams! My daughter graduated from VCU and my son graduated from ODU, so we’re very invested here in the Hampton Roads area as well as Richmond.

Tanya and I like to spend time outdoors, we do a lot of hiking and bike riding. We’re not professionals but we really enjoy doing it! We spend a lot of our time down on the Dismal Swamp Trail down in Chesapeake where we live.

We also spend a lot of time volunteering at our church. We are a part of our stewardship committee, we work on the adventuring program, the Christmas tree lots, we do a lot with housing the homeless and feeding the homeless. It just brings a lot of personal gratification to both of us.
