The approach that I like to take when working with my clients is one that involves collaboration and excellent communication. I want to ensure that I can genuinely understand what your environment is and what your needs are so that way we can, together, find the best solution for you and your business.

Hey there, my name is Mike Ashby, and I’m a Technology Sales Specialist with Cobb Technologies. I work directly with businesses throughout the Tidewater area, looking into what solutions would best fit their business needs.

I like to act as a consultant for their technology needs -for their business- and act as a sort of conduit to all of the other resources that Cobb Technologies has to offer. We have a very deep roster, a lot of people who really know what they’re specialized in, and we like o lean on them and bring them in as much as possible.

When I’m not in the office, more often not, I’m singing somewhere. I've been singing professionally since 2010, and it actually started with doing karaoke nights while I was serving in the Marine Corps - every Thursday at the Enlisted Club.

Once I got out of the Marine Corps, I decided to pursue that newfound passion of singing. I’ve been in a variety of different bands, different projects, different genres. I’ve done heavy metal, [I’ve been in an] Irish bar band, I’ve lent my voice to a contemporary classical album on more than one occasion in a studio setting, and, of course, if you’re a local, you may have seen me on stage in the production of Jekyll and Hyde, maybe in the production of Chess, or Rock of Ages - a lot of fun! I continue to perform outside of work, and it’s just something that I love to do. It’s very fulfilling.
