Meet Your Cobb Team: Tim Groat, Business Improvement Specialist

What I do on a day-to-day basis is reach out to clients and prospective clients to see if we can help them out via their printing, copying, managed IT services, and document workflows. In the long run, the goal is really just to try and help everyone fix all their problems in these areas.

Hi, I’m Tim Groat, and I’m a Business Improvement Specialist with Cobb Technologies.

I worked in IT sales for a while, and that allowed me to see the other side of the house that IT managers have to deal with - in terms of hardware, software, and their overall day-to-day. Because of that, I’ve been able to marry that skillset and that knowledge with copiers, printers, document workflow, and things of that nature, to solve my client’s needs.

In my free time, I like to go fishing. My parents have a place up on the Potomac River, so we go out there and go fishing for stripers all the time. I also like to go to breweries and wineries with friends and family - I really like bouncing around the Scott’s Addition area, and checking all those places out. Finally, I like to travel whenever I get the chance, and wherever I can go.
